After all of the noise of the weeks before and since the 2020 election (and I'll grant that lately some of the "noise" is heartening), I have found myself in need of silence.
Not sure how long this will last, but even my own words break the cherishing. Maybe it has to do with traditional fallow time or is simply the need for "other."
Whatever it is you will find me listening...to nature--to the twitter and glorious birdsong, to the rain on the roof, to the windchimes in the breeze, to the breeze itself, to the cry of the hawk overhead, to the hoot of the owl in the night....
